You know…sometimes reading news entries gets so boring. You read and read and then you find out that the huge amounts of new information are simply too much for you to comprehend and process. You simply forget what you’ve been reading some 20 minutes before.

I decided to feed you to some funny (maybe they are not, but I thought they are) questions-answers at Yahoo! Answers. I hope you know that you can learn great things by simply reading these Q-A at yahoo. But there is a problem: they are so multiple that you are not likely to read even daily questions for the end. What does it mean by an iPhone being “unlockable”?
Looking to buy an iPhone on eBay, and just about every destription on every listing says that the phone is “unlocked” or “unlockable”. Then it lists a firmware, something like 1.13. Just wondering what that means.

A. well unlockable means you can unlock it yourself if you want, to be used on any network that uses the technology, in the US that would be T-Mobile or AT&T!
unlocked means its already able to be used on any network without contracts!
1.1.3 firmware is simply the version of the phone
on a side note, ALL iPhones are unlockable!

2. Q

I’m gonna bring my unlocked iphone to the genius bar tomorrow. How do I make it a virgin again?
Yes man. so that I can bring it in for service.
I just bought it two days ago, unlocked it and now the bottom left side of the screen is loose. could u help me?
I tried looking for it in your site.. howardforums but i can’t find a solution.

A. connect your phone to iTunes with the provided USB cable, and hit restore. it will bring it back to stock settings and no trace of unlock or jailbreak left.

Is it safe to buy iphones from the uk?
i saw this ad ion the “cracker” free classifieds online
it was a company called ” M limited” selling 16gb iphones for 230USD it just sounds to good to be true. so i emailed them and asked about payment method. first they said western union which i thought “forget it” because everyone uses western union to scam. i then asked them about paypal. they said they didnt have paypal available at the time.
then a couple days later , they email me saying that they can use paypal now.
do you think this is legit? should i just take a risk and try it anyways.its 230usd if i never try i will never know.
but im uneasy what if this company is a scam.
there website is down, and i asked them why it was. they said it was under maintenace thats way they were in classifieds.
anyone got any suggestions? shhould i try and do it? 230 for iphone..sounds soo good with paypal? they even gave me there paypal ID and said totell them when im sendingg the money.so they can organise the shipping.

A. i would say atay well clear of them. They sound dodgy as hell! Plus you wouldn’t get a phone for that price in the uk so i’d say save your money!

How big is your iphone bill each month?
i am thinking about getting an iphone and i was wondering if the bill is really expensive.

A. I have 900 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, unlimited data usage (internet, email, etc…), and 1500 txt messages. I never go over my minutes or text messages and my bill comes to $120.11 every month after all the random charges, taxes, and fees.
Go HERE to look at the different plans available. If you want more than 200 text messages, the next step up is 1500 which will cost an extra $20 to which ever plan you choose.
Whatever plan you go with, plan on your monthly bill costing an extra $20 after taxes, fees, and random charges.

Receiving text with picture?
I receive text messages that say “I sent you a multimedia message. You can view my message via the internet at viewmymessage.com using Msg ID xyz Password xyz”. How do I get it to stop this and just let me view them on my iphone?

A. contact your phone company

Iphone in microwave?
my friends told me that if you put your iphone in the microwave for 30 seconds it really improves your service so i put my iphone in the microwave and after like 4 or 5 seconds it started making sparks but i left it in for the full 30 seconds. now my phone is really hot and it doesnt work. how come my service isnt better??

I hope you’re kidding me. That fries the insides and destroys your phone. My friend all you have is a 400 dollar piece of circuit boards now worth 2.00 USD on the street.
