Customers Reviews 2010-02-18 Iphone case Great product! Very tight fit, does not interfere with touch screen, even on the edges. The closeup lens for the camera is fantastic! | 2010-01-31 Macro lens a plus! This is a great case for the 3G and 3GS iPhone. The fit is snug. The macro lens (magnifier) that slides over the iPhone's lens is great for taking close up photos.
All in all, a great case.
| 2010-01-30 Best I've seen. I'm not the only one who thinks so. I inadvertently left my iPhone on the table in a restaurant. When I returned, the iPhone was there but the case wasn't. I got a one great photo before it was stolen. All controls were available and easy to use.
| 2009-12-14 outstanding functionality This case's lens truly adds amazing functionality to the phone's camera. I use this every day at school. I can literally photograph entire pages from textbooks and avoid taking extra books home daily. (i used to try doing this before I had this case, and it resulted in some missed work) My back has been thanking me. I've also dropped the phone multiple times since the case arrived, and the phone has been fully protected. The rubbery corners are very smart. This is the only case that will protect the lens on the phone itself. Be aware that you might need to remove the case periodically and clean dust and grit that might eventually collect in the lens area or on the inside edges, but this is much better than these things rubbing on your phone constantly. I didn't like the idea of a case making the phone thicker, but this case didn't bother me at all. It's as sleek as you could ask for, and looks fantastic. If you're on the fence, just buy it. seriously. | 2009-10-07 Very good case, despite the sliding lens Durable (has already saved my iPhone from several bangs and falls), fits well in my pocket and in my hand, and easy to secure and remove, this is a great hard case.
FYI, it is too large to leave it in the armband or belt cases cut juuuust large enough to fit the "naked" phone: the external dimensions are almost exactly those of a Blackberry Bold--see its measurements for your case-shopping searches. |

ClearBoost Case: Making Downloads for iPhone Faster?
As a matter of fact a great number of so-called "brainy" iPhone accessories can be used only for aesthetic purposes. Only few of them have really useful application. The device I’m going to describe below is one of them.
Griffin Technology has come up with ClearBoost case. Today seems to be the case-day. I’m reviewing though different but in fact two types of the same accessory – iPhone cases.
So ClearBoost case is aimed at two major purposes
- Protecting your iPhone from external dangers
- Boosting the device’s cellular signal
Griffin Technology is specializing in the creation of protective cases for iPhone and ClearBoost case is the first devices that somehow deviates from the course.
When you first see the case you might think that it is just an ordinary one (perhaps except for a small nub that protrudes from the top of the case). But this nub is responsible for making the cellular connection better. In fact it doesn’t give a significant improvement of the signal but you will see that a number of additional signal bars will appear on the screen.
If you wonder how it works, it’s simple – ClearBoost adds an antennae booster to your iPhone. It catches additional signal and send it to the phone via the inbuilt antennae.
As for the protection of the device, Griffin Technology ClearBoost is a strong polycarbonate case. The case is able to protect your phone from scratches and other defects that affect the aesthetic condition of it. Although the device doesn’t give incredible boost in the signal, it definitely improves it. The cost of the case is $29.99 and it seems a reasonable deal, as the device is a great case besides being an antennae booster.
