Customers Reviews 2008-09-06 great cover for the price I'm notorious for dropping, scratching and far too quickly breaking my phone. This case is good at absorbing the shock from being dropped and has prevented many scratches | 2008-08-13 Great Value for The Price! I had my skin on my phone, which I use constantly throughout my day, for about 4 months. It did get a bit loose towards the end, but that's to be expected.
I highly suggest buying! |

The British newspaper The Guardian speaks about a BBC service which is available in the streaming mode. Among the peculiar details are the intention of BBC to release iPlayer not only for Macintosh platform, but also for Apple iPhone and iPod touch in a few weeks. At the moment iPlayer exists as a web-version and a separate application which is available only for Windows.
The Register suggests that BBC will simply recode its video from Flash into H.264 as had been done by YouTube. They say that iPlayer will work only via Wi-Fi in the zone of the provider The Cloud, which has signed an agreement with BBC about the free access to BBC.co.uk and iPlayer. However, “in a few weeks” suggests the release of SDK, but BBC has never stated that iPlayer for iPhone/iPod touch is a separate application. It is likely that BBC will create a special web-site like YouTube.
Ashley Highfield, the director of future media and technology at the BBC, said:
“We have seen good and consistent growth in the daily consumption of programming and it doesn't look to be in any way plateauing. The real question is whether it is substitutional [viewing] or additive. We don't know but there is a reasonable amount of anecdotal evidence that it is additive. [It is] probably helping to maintain falling TV share.“
At the same time, PocketGamer.co.uk has published photos from the presentation by Gameloft where a game for iPhone was showed. Though is it quite probable that the released image is only a dummy, but not a working application. Gameloft is one of the biggest developers of mobile games and has its firm place in the niche of games for iPhone.
