Great for light use, and people with no love for thier Blackberry
I purchased this holster with the assumption that since it was an official accessory for the blackberry that it would be made to very exacting standards to keep the product line's image up. It did serve it's purpose well for about 2 months but I was carrying a heavy load and the load happened to snag on the holster. The holster itself held up fine, the clip did not. The belt clip assembly is made of plastic, which, for most people would seem to be fine, but given that my blackberry is just a *little* more important than oh, say, my check book, or a standard cell phone, I no longer trust plastic holsters to keep my precious data safe. The belt clip is poorly designed to begin with as it slowly dug into my stomach as I was setting down, requiring me to flip the holster around and have it come from underneath my belt rather than over, further worrying me as there is little to stop the clip from coming off the belt at that point. All in all, a somewhat decent product, but don't get this thinking that your Blackberry will be all that safe being held up by a plastic clip assembly. I opted for the Naztech Gladiator II Canvas Case for PDA's and Smart Phone Devices - Black (Also on Amazon) for my Curve 8330. It has a all stainless steel clip assembly and sturdy nylon construction, granted it's not going to look as sophisticated as this and other holsters, but would you look sophisticated if you were fumbling for your blackberry only to find that it snapped off your belt at that meeting and it's on the pavement somewhere lost? Think about what is more important to you. I'm fortunate enough to have had my Curve fall off and make a loud enough bang on the floor to catch my attention, will you be so lucky?

Curve Case satisfies the need
I am very pleased with the look and feel of this product. It has performed well. I especially like the feature of the magnetic strip that is incorporated in the case that puts the phone to sleep upon insertion. This saves battery life. Also, while in the holster, any email or text or call automatically vibrates incase you are in a meeting or at a place where you cannot hear the alert. Nice job Blackberry or whoever made it.

Great product
This is a great Blackberry holster and it is an incredible value. I've owned other Blackberry holsters that were not made this well and cost double what this one did.

Not a good fit
The holster strap is not long enough for the magnetic catch to make contact. This is obviously a design flaw which may account for the low price.

as is
this product is nice, soft leather, but firm enough to feel safe for your equipment. a good buy

Quicken for iPhone: Top 10 Options the Next iPhone Should Have

Ouriel Ohayon has come up with a list of 9 things which are simply necessary to be on the upcoming iPhone. Here you are: 1. Copy/paste The device should have a real feature but now a fake as the one it has now 2. Training tour When you take your new iPhone in your hands you should be taught how to use it. At the moment there is no specially designed application which can show you the major capabilities of the device 3. Auto Complete Dial Mode The thing is that when you want to call a person you have to go to the contact list and then choose the name with the phone number. A better solution is the one which is used in Blackberry and which is called auto complete 4. Wireless PC synchronization The current version of iPhone doesn’t have this option. Some application enable consultation with the data, but none of them give you a chance to use it. Such a feature is a real must. 5. Easy backup solution At the moment there are dozens of complicated apps that help you back your phone up. Some of them require being online. What is needed is a direct iPhone option that will enable you to backup your device offline. 6. Desktop Search option Having quite an extensive hard memory such an option would be very useful. File search by type, date and size seems to be an obvious thing iPhone should posses. 7. Esay delete function It is quite shocking that a gadget so advanced should not have delete function for all files. While emails and videos are easy to delete, other huge files, like for instance, audio podcasts cannot be deleted directly from iPhone without attaching it to a PC. 8. Single login for Youtube and iTunes The thing about iPhone is that having access to a great number of web application and services you have to login each time over and over again. There is no history in iPhone. 9. True Bluetooth File transfer should be included into Bluetooth option. At the moment iPhone’s Bluetooth can be used for Headset and file transfer is not enabled. Bluetooth should be a full-quality one. Pleasant bonuses:
  • Specified keyboard for email (that will automatically add “@” and “.com”)
  • Hard disk mode: like the one in iPod
  • Extensive call history
