Celebrity Fake List: Top 10 iPhone Clones

Apple iPhone is undoubtedly a settled trademark. It is a high quality product. No wonder that Apple is releasing its new generation 3G iPhone in 60 days. But that’s the bit of news. I’m driving at the fact that a number of companies try to copy the device in all the possible ways in order to make their products more popular. But…you know, no matter how close they come to the iPhone all these clones remain clones which are such a long way down from the real iPhone.
So, I’ve come with a list of 10 iPhone clones. To tell you the truth, this list wasn’t invented by me (which is no wonder). Initially it has been posted on NetworkWorld, but I have developed it to include only the devices which resemble the iPhone 90% and more.
Top 10 iPhone Fakes:
The device is made by Samsung and Sprint. It has GPS and in fact data transfer is much faster than in the original iPhone.
2. Sony Xperia
Sony has come up with a 3-inch widescreen display device which is one of the most awaited touch-screen smartphones of the year. Windows mobile 6.1 enables 9 simultaneous desktops.
3. Deeda Pi
This is one of the closest iPhone fakes. Moreover, it has an open-source platform which makes the resemblance even deeper. The device supports 3G and third-party software (due to the open platform).
4. LG Voyager
LG being a smartphone is similar to the iPhone in its menu organization and button in the bottom that enables quick access to SMS etc.
5. LG Vu
In fact LG Vu is the American version of LG Prada. It uses the same as iPhone multi-touch technology, but has an additional feature - MediaFLO TV
6. Cect P168
The fake is equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera claiming to have “3D surround sound” and a 3.5 inch touch display
7. HiPhone
Powered by Windows Mobile 6.0 the device has 100% iPhone identical user interface plus branded with Apple logo
Meizu M8 Mini One seems to be the smaller brother of iPhone It is cheaper (from $265 to $400) and smaller (the screen is 3.4 inches) just like iPod.
The device is able to carry 2 sim-cards simultaneously and seems to be the only probable iPhone competitor. It cannot be called directly an iPhone clone and moreover, it possesses almost all the features that iPhone doesn’t
10. Desay N8
The resemblance seems somewhere at 90%. The design, the button and even the wallpaper resembles the iPhone, but in order to navigate you will have to use a stylus.

You need to check your facts the LG Prada came out long before the Iphone. The Iphone is basically an ipod with a phone on it. The phone side of the Iphone is crappy. People are basically buying a brand (Apple) when it comes to the Iphone.
Iphone lacks: True Global Positioning (chip) System technology, The Instinct uses Global Positioning System (chip) technology for location-based services. The iPhone pulls off similar tricks by using wireless networks to determine an approximate location. You can’t send and receive pictures or videos, you can’t record videos.
You take away the phone and safari browser on the “iphone” and you basically have what i said… an ipod!
So you think that that the whole world has gone so crazy about a multimedia player with an inbuilt mobile device?
Excuse me, but I really cannot agree with you.
But I do agree with you about the LG. In fact, the iPhone can be called the LG clone. But I tried to show all the gadgets similar to the iPhone disregarding the time of their release. Maybe my approach is in some way inadequate x)
